Homage CMYK, an extensive project by Jill Magid has gone up for exhibition at Dia Bridgehampton as their summer exhibition. This project culminates collaborative efforts between Jill Magid, Brooklyn Editions, and Powerhouse Art's own silkscreen expert Luther Davis.
Ngoc Minh Ngo's Un Jardin Rêvé, "Dreamed Garden", opened at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech. This is just the second photography exhibition hosted by YSL to date; the last being the fashion house's inaugural 30 years show in 1992. This exhibition showcase displays the artist's photographic works, in collaboration with the Italian writer and botanist Umberto Pasti, to also support their co-created publication A Garden of Dreams.
We have produced editions with Chase Contemporary of work from Danish artist Ole Aakjær's The Pink Soul solo exhibition at the gallery. The artist's second solo with the gallery, the exhibition will feature new works done in his traditional illustrative style.
Ngoc Minh Ngo has released a book Nature Into Art: The Gardens of Wave Hill in collaboration with horticultural journalist Thomas Christopher. To celebrate the publication, the Wave Hill Florilegium exhibition has been opened for view at the Wave Hill House that features select works from the project.
Lina Iris Viktor's Some Are Born To Endless Night — Dark Matter is her major solo exhibition in the UK, at Autograph, London. The exhibition is a vast showcase displaying more than 60 of her artworks, ranging from sculpture, painting, photographic assemblage, to installation. Characterized by her ritualistic, signature use of pure 24-karat gold leaf, Viktor presents a cosmology exploring the dark matter: Blackness.
