Brooklyn Editions is proud of our relationships with the manufacturers of the very best fine art papers in the world. Our fine art printing relies on the very highest quality materials and technology. Digital pigment prints (giclées) rely on the quality of the paper for the best reproduction and the unique tactile properties of each individual fine art paper.

We are proud to have certification from the top three makers of fine art paper. As a result, we receive ongoing support, training, and product information directly from the scientists and craftspeople that actually make the paper we print on.

Hahnemühle Certified Studio

Platinum Tier

We are among the specially Certified Studios for Hahnemühle Fine Art, only one of five Platinum tiered studios in the United States. Hahnemühle is one of the oldest paper mills in the world with a history dating back to 1584, and they are a leader in modern digital printing technology. Their Photo Rag paper has long been a standard in the industry, and the Hahnemühle range includes many incredible, innovative papers, from a natural matte Bamboo, to a glossy finish Photo Rag Metallic.

Canson Certified Print Lab

We are also proud to be a Canson Certified Print Lab and to partner with such a historic paper manufacturer that has been at the forefront of both photographic and fine art paper. Part of their repertoire features the historic Arches paper line, as well as their Canson Infinity classic photographic papers collection, including the award-winning Platine Fibre Rag that has become a staple for many photographers in search of the look of a classic black and white print.

Ilford Certified Printer Partner

To complete the circle, we are an Ilford Certified Printer Partner and have the support of one the most historic names in photographic papers, whose range now includes one of the widest selections of fine art surfaces from high gloss, to textured rice paper. Ilford also provides some the widest options for fine art paper rolls that come in 64" wide, for projects needing to go extra large on outstanding quality surfaces.
